That which is heard, first has to be said, and through regurgitation - becomes hearsay. The myths we tell, the lessons we hold as truths, the things we swear we’ve felt or seen.

Hear Say is Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band’s debut studio LP. These songs are inspired by the interpersonal moments in life, the critique of oneself, the trust of one’s own mind.

Hear Say raises a glass to all the conversations and moments that have made these songs real.

Some tracks were born from days at Salisbury University, dancing in the psychedelic grips of time well spent - others come from being thrusted into discovering who we truly are, or aren’t, in the reflection of it all. Through core experiences both good and bad, the band finds peace in embracing the unseriousness of this life. A shoulder shrug for all that is held to a standard, a joyful disregard for what we ‘should’ do. If you’re a highly serious person, this is not your band.

But if you take it with a grain of salt, and maybe a gram, you may understand, it’s all Hear Say,
