Oyo - Oyo

Oyo – S/T HWF-RC #004 HWF-RC Exclusive Opaque Metallic Gold vinyl Sold out. Born along the Ohio River, six-piece roots band Oyo blends Appalachian instrumentation, driving rhythm and vivid songwriting on its self-titled album. The group’s single-microphone energy moves between honky-tonk, barn-dance momentum and an indie-rock undercurrent. Ben Townsend recorded the album at Questionable Records in Elkins, West Virginia; Michael Bond mixed and mastered it, and The Vinyl Lab pressed this Opaque Metallic Gold edition. Bobby Rosenstock and Joe Ryckebosch created the artwork, with photography by Shannon Brown.
