A chance meeting at a Denver, CO Heady Wax Fiends Presents show found us blown away by Orca’s live show. We reached out and let them know we’d love to feature their double LP as a Fiends Fault Exclusive series offering. As things tend to happen, a future project was delayed and we were lucky enough to pivot this breathtaking release into our January 2026 Record Of The Month slot! “Dealing In Daydreams” is available to stream on your platform of choice.
“Dealing in Daydreams” is Orca’s second studio album, and first body of work to be released on vinyl. The 12 song double LP features 88 minutes of music that’s been written, rehearsed, and road tested over the last three years.
The album offers a variety of different sounds, mixing love ballads like “Runaway” with intricate arrangements such as “Your Light” and the smooth rock sounds of “Miss Calypso”.
Bringing youthful energy and eclectic taste to the Colorado music scene, Denver-based quintet "Orca" feeds an appetite for exploration with tight, engaging compositions and instills lasting confidence with classic covers and mellow ballads boasting three vocalists often heard in harmony.
