Steam Powered Aereo-Takes opens up the sessions behind John Hartford’s 1971 Aereo-Plain, featuring Norman Blake, Tut Taylor, Vassar Clements and Randy Scruggs. First assembled by Rounder Records for a 2002 CD release, these additional performances reached vinyl through Heady Wax Fiends and Real Gone Music. Clint Holley at Well Made Music mastered the source for vinyl, with the pressing handled by Gotta Groove Records.
