Released in December 2025, Spell captures Eric Leadbetter Band’s dynamic range, from the blues-funk drive of “Sky to the Ground” to the heartfelt ballad “Time for Money.” Eric Leadbetter’s original songs sit alongside collaborations such as “Lost August,” featuring lyrics by HWF's own Joe Mike Matt and music by Leadbetter.

The album features Aaron Moore on bass and vocals, Kaleb Kelleher on drums, and horn arrangements by Collin Braley. It was tracked at Bluejay Productions in Jacksonville, Oregon, with engineer and co-producer Mark Thomas Johnson, and mastered by Joe Reineke at Temple of the Trees in Seattle, Washington.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Eric Leadbetter Band blends funk, blues, and rock ’n’ roll. A fixture of Central Oregon’s original music scene, Leadbetter plays more than 240 shows annually. The band has shared stages with acts including ZZ Top, opening for them at the Britt Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Oregon, in 2021.
